These ideas will help you get more momentum into your commercial real estate marketing processes with all your listings.  Every commercial property listing is an excuse to talk to other people, prospects, and clients.

The podcast will help you understand how you can build a promotional process with all your listings.  You can become a market leader in property marketing for your location.  Establish a media planner with all of your exclusive listings, and help your clients see the value in the process.

You are the professional person to establish a promotional strategy with all your listings, and then make the marketing campaign work.  Help your client see that you have the ideas and the professional skills to get the message out there.

There will always be choices of course with your marketing.  You can do things generically, or you can drill down into the real facts of the local area and market and the property itself; your choices here are critical to the result that you want for your client and yourself.

The rules to commercial real estate marketing include the following:

  1. Put a target market at the centre of your efforts and promotional message.  Don't be vague on your facts and details.  Tap into the audience specifically.
  2. Get some personal selling into your campaigns. Create conversations. That's the core of success in commercial real estate marketing.
  3. Research your location frequently to understand what buyers and tenants are looking for when it comes to investments and occupancy.
  4. Piggyback some of your property promotions off other listings.  Cross-selling properties and locations can happen when you consider all the opportunities and the requirements of buyers and tenants.
  5. Drive the property facts into the location.  A good campaign will have a marketing mix across a few media channels
