A lot of people think that email is the only form of business communication.  The truth of the matter is that the traditional letter process is still very effective as part of a real estate prospecting system.  Sending letters can and should be a part of the ways in which you connect with new people in commercial real estate.

Here is a list of a balanced approach to commercial real estate prospecting:

  1. Making cold calls to people that you have not spoken to before
  2. Researching and connecting with business owners and investors locally
  3. Connecting with allied industry professionals such as developers, property solicitors, accountants, financiers, bankers, etc.

So the connection processes you can use are a mixture of:

  • Telephone calls
  • Emails
  • Letters
  • Doorknocking
  • Canvassing locations

In today's podcast, we give you ideas around sending letters to your prospects and clients. Try out the ideas; they are proven and they work.
