In today's podcast, John Highman shares the ideas and advantages of property leasing services in your commercial real estate industry. The businesses in your location are good opportunities for tenant advocacy work. There are changes that they require in their location and business future. Here are ideas to help with tapping into all of that.

Where can you start?  Talk to tenants and local businesses.  Assess them by location and need.  Make that a part of your business day before you do anything else.  Determining their requirements of services, amenities, and property improvements.  Attain 'tenant advocate' status as the property specialist of choice.

Stay in the 'quality end' of your property market.  A good property or prime location will generally lease quickly and effectively. The older properties in poor locations tend to stay on the market for a long time.  So build those priorities into your canvassing and prospecting.

You can use the standards of services, amenities, and the lists of property improvements in each location or prime property to understand the attraction factors to tenants and local companies.
